Delivery

Last updated: 10 October 2026

This page explains when we make your order, how we post it, what each option at checkout actually is, and what happens if delivery goes wrong. It forms part of your contract with us, alongside our Terms and Conditions and our Cancellations, Returns and Refunds Policy. Nothing here reduces the rights the law gives you.

We post from our own premises in Wesham, Lancashire. Everything is made here and posted by Royal Mail.

1. We ship to the United Kingdom only

We deliver to addresses in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We do not ship outside the UK at the moment, so no customs charges or import duties arise on anything you buy here.

2. Making your order

Everything we sell is made to order, so nothing is sitting on a shelf waiting to be picked. We make and post most orders within 1-2 working days. T-shirts take 2-3 working days to make (see section 3). Working days are Monday to Friday and exclude bank holidays.

Express orders skip the queue - see section 3.

Where an order needs artwork approval before we can cut it, the making time starts from your approval, not from the moment you paid. If we are waiting on you, we will email you.

Bank holidays and the run-up to Christmas stretch this. We keep the dispatch note on the product page current, and we will email you if your order is going to take longer than the window above.

3. Delivery options

You choose the postal service at checkout. Two separate things make up the wait, and we quote both: making, then posting. The totals below add them together.

Option at checkout What it actually is Tracked? Typical total, from order to doorstep Cost
Free UK Delivery (orders of £35 or more) Made in 1-2 working days, then Royal Mail Tracked 48 Yes, end to end 3-5 working days Free
Standard Delivery Made in 1-2 working days, then Royal Mail 2nd Class No 3-5 working days £3.75
Tracked Delivery Made in 1-2 working days, then Royal Mail Tracked 24 Yes, end to end 2-3 working days £4.65
Express Delivery Made ahead of the queue, then Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm Yes, end to end Order by 1pm, delivered by 1pm the next working day £13.35

Free UK Delivery applies to orders of £35 or more after any discount and before postage. It goes by Royal Mail Tracked 48, so you can follow it to your door. If you need it sooner, choose Tracked Delivery (Royal Mail Tracked 24) or Express.

T-shirts take 2-3 working days to make, one day longer than the rest of the range, so add one working day to the totals above. With Express, a T-shirt goes by Special Delivery as soon as it is made and arrives by 1pm the next working day, usually 3-4 working days after you order.

Hoodies always go by Royal Mail Tracked 48, never 2nd Class. For an order with a hoodie, checkout offers Tracked Delivery (Royal Mail Tracked 48) at £3.75, free on orders of £35 or more, or Express at £13.35. Typical total from order to doorstep: 3-5 working days.

4. Express: order by 1pm, delivered by 1pm

Express is the only option with a guarantee behind it, and it is worth being precise about what that guarantee is.

Order by 1pm on a working day. We make your order that afternoon, ahead of everything else in the queue, and hand it to Royal Mail on Special Delivery Guaranteed. Royal Mail guarantees delivery by 1pm the next working day. Twenty-four hours, door to door.

Order after 1pm, or at a weekend, and your order is made on the next working day and posted that day - so it arrives by 1pm the working day after. Order at 2pm on Friday and it arrives by 1pm on Tuesday. Working days are Monday to Friday and exclude bank holidays.

Express parcels need a signature. Nobody in, and Royal Mail leaves a card - the guarantee covers our delivery attempt, not your diary.

The guarantee is Royal Mail's and it covers the postal leg. Royal Mail does not offer the 1pm guarantee to every UK postcode: a small number of Highland, island and Northern Ireland addresses are guaranteed by the end of the next working day instead. Royal Mail's own exclusion list decides that, not us. If your postcode is on it, we will tell you rather than let you find out.

If Royal Mail misses the guaranteed service you paid for, email us and we refund the difference between Express and our standard postage. You do not need to chase Royal Mail yourself.

And if we cannot get your Express order into the post when we said we would - a machine down, a material out of stock, illness - we email you before it ships and refund the Express charge down to standard postage. You choose then whether to wait or cancel. We would rather tell you early than take £13.35 for a promise we already know we are going to miss.

5. Everything else is an estimate

Royal Mail aims to deliver 2nd Class and Tracked 48 in 2-3 working days and Tracked 24 the next working day. Those are aims, published by the carrier, and we quote them as we receive them. Neither is a guaranteed service. Only Express carries a guarantee. Weather, strikes and the December peak move all of these numbers.

If you need your order by a particular date, tell us before you order - email info@denmary.co.uk with the date and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it. Your rights when a delivery runs late are in section 8, and nothing in this section affects them.

6. Tracking

Tracked Delivery, Free UK Delivery and Express all carry full Royal Mail tracking. We email you the number when the parcel leaves us, and you can follow it to the door.

Standard Delivery goes 2nd Class, which does not carry tracking. Hoodies are the exception: they always go Tracked 48. You will get a dispatch email from us confirming the parcel is in the post, but there will be no number to follow and no scan history. That is the trade-off for the lower price. If tracking matters to you, upgrade at checkout.

7. Where your parcel goes

Most of our transfers fit through a letterbox. Where a parcel will not fit and nobody is in, Royal Mail leaves a card and either holds it at your local delivery office or attempts again the next working day. Express parcels need a signature.

Goods stay at our risk until they reach your hands, or the hands of somebody you nominated. That is section 29 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If you asked for a safe place or a neighbour, delivery there counts as delivery to you.

8. If your order is late

We will deliver within 30 days of the day your contract with us is made, unless we agree a longer period with you. Miss that, and you can set us a new deadline that suits the circumstances; miss the new one, and you can end the contract and take a full refund.

You can end the contract straight away, without setting a new deadline, if we have refused to deliver, or if delivery by an agreed date was essential and you told us so when you ordered. This matters for anything tied to a match day, a birthday or a hen weekend - say so at the point of order and it becomes part of the deal.

If you paid for Tracked or Express and Royal Mail missed the service you paid for, email us. We refund the difference between what you paid and our standard postage, no argument. That is our promise, and it applies whatever a carrier's own terms say.

9. If your order has not arrived at all

Email info@denmary.co.uk with your order number and we will chase it. On Tracked, Free UK Delivery and Express we can see where it stopped. On 2nd Class we cannot, so we open a claim with Royal Mail instead, and Royal Mail will not look at a claim until a set number of working days have passed - which is why we ask you to allow 14 days from dispatch before we start one. That wait is a carrier rule, not a limit on your rights.

Where the carrier cannot show the parcel reached you or a place you authorised, we replace it or refund you. Section 7 of our Cancellations, Returns and Refunds Policy covers this in full.

10. Wrong address, refused or uncollected parcels

Check your address at checkout before you pay. Once a parcel is with Royal Mail we cannot redirect it.

If a parcel comes back to us because the address was wrong or incomplete, because it was refused, or because nobody collected it, section 6 of our Cancellations, Returns and Refunds Policy sets out what happens next. Where the failure is ours, your statutory rights apply in full and nothing in this section limits them.

11. One charge per order

Postage is charged once per order and per delivery address, however many items you buy. Buy four transfers, pay one postage.

12. Contact

Any question about delivery: email info@denmary.co.uk with your order number. We aim to reply within one working day, Monday to Friday.
